Charlie is a master’s-level intern at Southern Methodist University completing her Master of Science in Counseling. She specializes in personality disorders, trauma, anxiety, perfectionism, and substance use. Drawing from Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Charlie helps clients recognize how their beliefs, rather than external events, shape their emotional and behavioral experiences. By identifying and challenging unhelpful thought patterns, clients learn to develop healthier, more flexible ways of relating to themselves and others. She also integrates a strengths-based perspective, understanding that the same qualities that drive success can sometimes fuel pressure, perfectionism, and emotional disconnection.

Charlie’s work centers on exploring the deeper patterns that keep clients feeling stuck, allowing them to reconnect with themselves and their relationships in a way that feels grounded and genuine. Therapy with Charlie is not about fixing what’s broken, but about creating space for what has been missing. In this process, clients learn to make their comebacks stronger than their setbacks and gain a clearer sense of who they are and what they are capable of. She is currently pursuing her Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) credential.

  • $PWYC (Pay What You Can)

Pay What You Can rates allow participants to choose a fee that fits their current financial situation. This rate helps to ensure all clients can access therapy regardless of income level.
