Lauren Musselman

Lauren is a master's Level Intern at Southern Methodist University. She is completing her Master of Science in Counseling. She works with adolescents and adults dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, and life transitions.

Lauren incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into her work, with a trauma-informed and client-centered approach. She is passionate about helping clients work through their challenges and empowering them with tools to help themselves.

Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and is actively pursuing her Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) credential. Lauren is committed to fostering a supportive space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered in their growth.
