Raghan Stoney

Raghan is a student in Southern Methodist University’s Master’s in Counseling program. She is on the Clinical Mental Health track with a trauma specialty. Counseling from Adlerian Theory, she believes that every person has the power to make positive change in their lives, they just may be lacking internal encouragement.

She believes that people are constantly striving towards superiority and searching for a place to belong. When people feel they are falling short in these areas they become discouraged; ultimately causing problems in living.

Raghan believes in creating a warm, safe, and encouraging environment for clients to process and make the change they want to see in their lives. In session, she will help clients explore early memories, beliefs they hold about themselves and the world, and the relationships serving purpose in their lives. Raghan hopes through insight gained in session clients will leave feeling empowered and motivated.
